It’s been a long road, but it’s almost over. We’ve broken down 23 categories, giving more attention to the majority of them than the Academy will, and that’s their actual fucking job. But in these last 48 hours before the ceremony is officially screwed up once again, there’s one last bit of business to attend to.
Who’s actually going to win these things? Well, if you’ve been paying attention, you already know the answer to that question for more than half the categories. Fully 12 of the 23 are as certain as certain can be, and I can make a fairly educated guess on another five. Really, only six categories can be considered “up in the air” as the results loom.
